Crabmeat Dip

Rich, savory, and incredibly easy to make, it’s the kind of appetizer everyone loves.

Equipment

  • Measuring spoons
  • 1 colander
  • 1 medium-size bowl
  • 1 casserole dish
  • Cooking Spray

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cans canned crab or 16 oz. fresh lump meat crab
  • 1 bar cream cheese softened
  • 4 green onions sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. white wine
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. Zatarain’s liquid crab boil
  • Pinch salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • If using canned crab, drain it in a colander. If using fresh crab, rinse in a colander and pick through it to remove any shells.
  • Place the crab in a bowl and cover with milk.
  • Soak for at least 30 minutes.
  • Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a mixer.
  • Mix until combined and smooth.
  • Spread the crab mixture in a greased casserole dish.
  • Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Serve the dip in the baking dish or transfer to a bowl.
  • Serve with Ritz Crackers or similar buttery crackers.
