Remove the steak from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature.
Coat the steak with Montreal Steak Seasoning. Montreal Steak Seasoning is typically a bold, coarse blend of salt, pepper, garlic, onion, crushed red pepper flakes, coriander and dill seed.
In the meantime, prepare and heat the grill.
Insert a meat thermometer into the side of the steak.
Place the steak on the hottest part of the grill and sear it for 2 minutes per side.
Move the steak away from the flame and grill until the desired temperature.
