Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

This salad is a wonderful addition for a potluck or as a side dish at home. The concept is very simple, but the taste is amazing.

Equipment

  • 1 knife
  • 1 measuring cup
  • Measuring spoons
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 Large spoon
  • 1 Small bowl
  • 1 whisk

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head broccoli, cut in florets
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut in florets
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. Swerve granulated
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli and cauliflower.
  • Add the red onion and toss to mix.
  • In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, granular Swerve, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  • Stir until well combined.
  • Pour the dressing over the cauliflower and broccoli mixture.
  • Stir to coat all the veggies.
  • Fold in the cheddar cheese, bacon pieces and sunflower seeds.
