Classic Greek Dinner Salad

This tangy salad is made with olives, tomatoes, red onion, feta cheese and a tangy dressing. Serve this salad with anything with an Italian or Mediterranean flair. It's especially good served with pizza.

  • Measuring spoons

  • 1 whisk
  • 1 Small bowl
  • Serving bowl or individual bowls

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 2 heads of romaine lettuce washed and sliced
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes cut in half
  • 1/2 red onion sliced
  • 1/2 cucumber sliced
  • 1 container feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 small can sliced black olives

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together the garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and oregano in a bowl.
  • Divide the romaine between bowls.
  • Add grape tomatoes, cucumber, sliced red onion, feta cheese and black olives. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to coat.
