Garlic Butter Broccoli
Broccoli is the perfect accompaniment for many main dishes. It only needs a little dressing up to make it fabulous.

1 large pot
1 Small bowl
1 slotted spoon
- 2 head broccoli cut in florets
- 2 Tbsp. garlic
- 1 stick butter melted
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 4-5 minutes.
While the broccoli is blanching, melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl,
Add the garlic. lemon juice, salt and pepper. You can use fresh lemon as an alternative. Bottled will do fine in this recipe if that is what you have.
Stir to combine.
When the broccoli is done blanching, remove it with a slotted spoon and transfer it to a baking dish.
Immediately toss with the butter and garlic mixture.
Serve immediately. Broccoli gets cold quickly.
