Herb Roasted Chicken Legs

Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Think ahead a little bit to marinate the chicken overnight. The results are a flavorful, juicy chicken dinner. Instead of roasting in the oven, you can also grill the chicken. Either way, these chicken legs are a keeper!

Equipment

  • Measuring spoons
  • 1 measuring cup
  • 1 knife
  • 1 large resealable bag
  • 1 large baking sheet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Swerve
  • 2 tsp. thyme
  • 1 tsp. rosemary
  • 2 tsp. garlic, minced
  • 1-1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 3 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. lemongrass seasoning
  • 1 tsp. dried tarragon
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. dried dill
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 12 chicken drumsticks

Instructions
 

  • Combine salt, brown sugar, thyme, rosemary, garlic, soy sauce, onion, butter, bay leaf, lemongrass, tarragon, oregano, dill and basil. Stir into a paste.
  • Rub the paste all over the chicken drumsticks and place it in a resealable bag. Allow to marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
  • Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and place it on a greased baking sheet.
  • Bake the drumsticks for 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Serve immediately.
