Low-Carb Beef Tostadas
Cripsy low-carb tortillas are topped with flavorful beef and topped with fresh veggies and cheese. Drizzled with a Mexican crema sauce, this is a hearty and satisfying meal for lunch or dinner that will become a staple at your house.

- 4 llow-carb tortillas er
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. garlic, minced
- 1 packet 1 packet taco seasoning mix or 2 Tbsp. homemade taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup salsa
- Toppings: lettuce, tomato, sour cream, black olives, green onion, guacamole
- For the Crema:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. heavy cream
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
Fry the tortillas in a little bit of oil until both sides are crispy. Drain on a paper towel-lined baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix the ingredients for the crema until combined and smooth.
In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic.
Add salsa, water and taco seasoning.
Cook until liquid is absorbed.
Spread the meat mixture over the crispy tortilla and top with shredded lettuce, tomato, guacamole, black olives, green onion or whatever else floats your boat.
Drizzle with the crema on top.
