Pizza Burger

Equipment

  • 1 knife
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • An indoor or outdoor grill or skillet pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. Italian sausage
  • 2 Tbsp. Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 package pepperoni
  • Mozzarella slices
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 package Keto hamburger buns or your favorite hamburger buns
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced and sauteed

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian sausage, Montreal steak seasoning and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
  • Form into balls and press into patties. Fry or grill the burgers until the meat is at the desired temperature.
  • Place some slices of pepperoni on top of the burger.
  • Place a slice of mozzarella cheese over the top of the burgers. Cover the pan and allow the cheese to melt.
  • In the meantime, toast the buns and warm the pizza sauce.
  • To build the burger, place the patty on the toasted bun. Top with a spoonful of warmed pizza sauce, sauteed onion and other desired condiments or toppings that will complement the burger flavors, such as green peppers or sauteed mushrooms.
