In a bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian sausage, Montreal steak seasoning and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
Form into balls and press into patties. Fry or grill the burgers until the meat is at the desired temperature.
Place some slices of pepperoni on top of the burger.
Place a slice of mozzarella cheese over the top of the burgers. Cover the pan and allow the cheese to melt.
In the meantime, toast the buns and warm the pizza sauce.
To build the burger, place the patty on the toasted bun. Top with a spoonful of warmed pizza sauce, sauteed onion and other desired condiments or toppings that will complement the burger flavors, such as green peppers or sauteed mushrooms.
