- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 1 Tbsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. allspice
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. Swerve brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. fresh rosemary chopped fine
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 4 center-cut pork chops
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 packet Garlic herb seasoning blend
- 1 tsp. orange zest
- Fresh rosemary sprigs
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
In a food processor, pulse the garlic, pepper, garlic herb seasoning, allspice, salt, orange zest, brown sugar, 3 tablespoons of rosemary and 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
Rub the paste over the pork chops or chicken.
Let the meat stand at room temperature for 30 minutes or cover and place it in the refrigerator overnight.
Place the chops on a baking sheet and brush the tops of the meat with extra virgin olive oil.
Place the rosemary sprigs on top of the meat.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the pork chops are 140 degrees. If you are making chicken, the chicken should be 165 degrees.
Remove the rosemary and serve.
