- 1 Tbsp. Swerve brown sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 4 salmon filets
- 1/2 red onion sliced thin
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. chives
- 1/4 cup sweet red chili sauce
- 1/2 tsp. ginger paste
- 1 tsp. cayenne
- Vegetable oil for grilling
- Sliced green onion for garnish
In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, salt and pepper, cayenne, chili powder and cumin.
Rub the spice mix on the salmon.
In a grill pan, saute the sliced onions until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, chives, red chili sauce and ginger paste.
Mix well.
Heat the grill and add the salmon, skin side down, for 4-5 minutes.
Brush the glaze on the salmon while cooking.
Flip and cook another 2-5 minutes.
Top the salmon with the sauteed onions and garnish with green onions.
