Homemade Keto Peanut Butter

Making homemade peanut butter is surprisingly simple and requires only a few ingredients. In just minutes, you can create a fresh, creamy spread that tastes far better than many store-bought varieties.

Equipment

  • Food processor
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 storage container

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups dry roasted and salted peanuts if you use unsalted peanuts, you will need to add your own salt
  • 1-2 Tbsp. honey or other sweetener to taste
  • 1-3 tsp. peanut oil or avocado oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
  • Spread peanuts on a baking sheet.
  • Roast for 3 minutes.
  • Remove the baking sheet, then shake or stir the peanuts.
  • Roast another 33-5 minutes.
  • Remove and cool.
  • Add peanuts to the food processor.
  • Process 1 minute.
  • With a spatula, scrape the sides.
  • Process another 2-3 minutes until smooth and glossy.
  • Add salt and honey.
  • If peanut butter is too thick, add the peanut il a teaspoon at a time until it is the desired consistency.
  • Store in the refrigerator and use on PB&J or in any recipe that calls for peanut butter.
