Sensational Sesame Meatballs are a crowd-pleaser every time they hit the table. These tender, flavorful bites are coated in a rich, savory sauce that’s impossible to resist. Serve them as a party appetizer, pile them over a bowl of rice for a hearty main dish, or keep things low-carb by spooning them over tender shredded cabbage. Quick to prepare and bursting with flavor, these meatballs are sure to earn a spot in your weekly rotation.
Ingredients
2 lbs. ground beef
2 tsp. sesame oil
1 cup CauliCrunch or Keto breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp. ginger paste or minced fresh ginger
3 eggs
4 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 cup onion, minced fine
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Cooked rice, cauliflower rice or shredded, cooked cabbage
1/2 cup sliced green onion for garnish
Steamed or roasted broccoli as a side dish
For the Sauce:
1/2 tsp. hoisin
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 Swerve brown sugar
1 tsp. Sriracha
1 tsp. ginger paste or minced fresh ginger
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1/4 cup honey
1 Tbsp. rice vinegar
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, sesame oil, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, ginger, eggs, garlic and onion. Mix well.








Form the meat into small meatballs. I use a silicone meatball mold that I bought at Aldi’s several years ago. It forms perfect meatball shapes. It’s one of my favorite kitchen tools. My husband thinks it’s cheating, but I am not going to split hairs about that. I am all about saving time in the kitchen.

Fry the meatballs in a little bit of oil until browned on the outside.

Meanwhile, combine the hoisin, soy sauce, ketchup, Swerve brown sugar, ginger sriracha sauce, garlic, honey, red pepper flakes and rice vinegar in a saucepan. Stir to heat.

Place cooked meatballs in a slow cooker and pour sauce on top. You can use the Slow Cooker setting on an Instant Pot for the same results. Set the slow cooker on the Warm setting.

Serve the meatballs as an appetizer with cute mini skewers or over rice or cooked shredded cabbage. Steamed or roasted broccoli makes a superb side dish for this meal. Ganish with green onion and sesame seeds.
