Reading List 2022

Rate this post

Last year, I challenged myself to read a book a month. I gave myself a few extra books for good measure. I did not think that I would be able to keep the pace that I had set for myself, but in the event that I did exceed my mark, I placed a few extra books on my list, just in case. I ended up reading 13 books in 12 months, which is more than I have done in many, many years. I’m going to do it again this year. Have any of you read some good books lately? Let me know in the comments.

Bridget Jones’s Diary by Helen Fielding

The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks

The Second Summer of the Sisterhood by Anne Brashares (I read the first one in this series years ago)

Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns by Lauren Weisberger (I finished the first book last month, so no time like the present to read the next in the series)

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rawlings (I am probably the only person on the planet who has not read at least one Harry Potter)

The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan (This is a YA book; one of my former students was crazy about this series, so I am going to see if it is worth the fuss)

Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie (I am going to throw in a classic or two because I love the classics)

The Atonement Child by Francine Rivers

Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy (I know….this one is really long.)

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold

The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
