Having lived a Keto lifestyle for a while now, I’ve come to use quite a few Keto and low-carb products over and over again. I have so many that I felt I needed to break up my original post into several parts. Below are some of my favorites for Part II in the series. Visit my 10 Favorite Keto Products Part I for the first installment in this series.
Birchbender’s Waffles
These waffles come in two flavors: Plain and Chocolate Chip. TI can’t tell the difference between these and other toaster waffles. Although these are nice for breakfast with fruit or monk-fruit-sweetened maple syrup, the plain variety works well for Chicken and Waffles. I should have a recipe for Keto Chicken and Waffles coming up soon. Something to look forward to. In any event, I have found these at most major grocery store chains.
Catalina Crunch Sandwich Cookies
These cookies are good. Th two flavors below are my favorites, but they also come in Chocolate Mint and Vanilla Creme. I have only found these at Sprouts, but you can order them through Amazon. The Sprouts price for $7.99. That is a hefty price for the amount of cookies in the box. I may buy these if I see them on sale for $4.99. They are good on their own, but they also make a nice pie crust when pulverized in a food processor.
Mrs. Jones Break n Bake Cookie Dough
Like the Miss Jones Cornbread mix, you must really want some of this cookie dough because it is $7.99 for a package. I have found these most consistently at Sprouts and occasionally at some other places. They are really good! I have used these to make a skillet cookie in a cast iron pan. Yum!
Catalina Crunch Spicy Nut Mix
This nut mix comes in different flavors, but our favorite is the spicy mix. The mix has cashews, cheese crisps, Keto pretzels that I can’t seem to find anywhere by themselves and some of their cereal pieces. If you are a Chex Mix fan this is a wonderful alternative. I have found this at Sprouts mostly, but HEB has now started to carry it. Sprouts sellss it for $7.49 per bag, but I have found it on sale for $3.99 per bag, so watch for that. HEB sells this product for $7.26 per bag, but I have seen a digital coupon for $2 off. This is good stuff!
Carbanada Pasta
Carbanada pasta is not that low in carbs, but it can be made starch-resistant and used in moderation. It is lower in carbs than regular pasta for sure. I have seen other low-carb pasta that is lower in carbs. This pasta is a nice substitution for egg noodles or fettuccine and it has a good taste. I have only found it at Central Market in Houston, but the store is a good distance away. Besides that, sometimes the store does not have it. With that said, Amazon is the place to get it, but you have to order more than one. Four 10-oz. bags from Amazon is $25.99.
Egglife Wraps
Egglife Wraps have zero net carbs for the original and flavored wraps have 1 net carb. These are good replacements for a tortilla when making a wrap sandwich. They are a little bit thicker than a tortilla but hold together much better. You can find these wraps at Aldi and most other grocery stores, but they are also at Costco. Costco sells them in larger packages, but as far as pricing is concerned, the price is about the same per wrap.
Kinder’s Zero BBQ Sauce
Kinder’s Zeri BBQ Sauce is made with allulose. I purchased this BBQ sauce at HEB and at Sprouts for around the $6.00 mark. The sauce is thinner than most BBQ sauces, but it tastes great! I’ll take it!
Hilo Chips
Again, another product that you really have to want due to the exorbitant price. These Hilo chips are similar to Doritos. They come in two flavors: Nacho Cheese and Ranch. Costco sells both flavors in a very large bag for $7.99, but I have seen them in smaller bags elsewhere. Costco is probably the better deal. My family loves these chips, but I have to need them for a special occasion. I make sure any leftovers are sealed tightly because at that price, none of them should go to waste.
InnoFoods Keto Crackers
I love these crackers. They are sturdy enough for dipping or for spreading with chicken salad or other hearty spreads. Besides that, they taste really good. I can detect the slightest hint of cinnamon, but they are not sweet crackers. The Costco in my area used to sell these crackers in a large bag for a good value at $8.99 per bag, but as Costco sometimes does, they discontinued this item. I hope one day they bring them back, but for now I have not been able to find them anywhere. I will update if I can get them again somewhere, but in the meantime, if you see these, pick them up.
Keto Brand Ice Cream Pints
You can find quite a few Keto ice creams in pints at the grocery store. I think I have tried them all. A lot of them have ZERO taste! Three stand out in the crowd.
My absolute favorite is the Keto brand. This ice cream comes in a white carton with KETO in large print. It stands out in the ice cream freezers at the store. You can’t miss it. It comes in a variety of flavors: Raspberry, Strawberry, Sea Salt Caramel, Triple Chocolate Brownie and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough I find these at HEB, but if you are not in Texas, look for it in your grocery stores. The cost at HEB is $5.19 at regular price, but HEB puts them on sale for around $3.99 every once in a while. Don’t miss out on the raspberry flavor. It is to die for!
My next favorite Keto ice cream is the Aldi version. The price of these pints remains steady at $4.29 per pint. They have three flavors: Cookie Dough, Mint Chip and Peanut Butter Fudge. Aldi has a line of Keto products that are quite good, and they do not disappoint with their Keto ice cream. I like all of these flavors.
Finally, Kroger has come out with their own Keto ice cream under their Simple Truth Brand. The regular price on these pints is $4.49, but Kroger puts them on sale often for $3.99 per pint. That is the best price out of all these ice creams. The flavors are Chocolate Chip, Vanilla, Mint and Butter Pecan.
