Steak and Veggie Sheet Pan Meal

Rate this post

Steak is perfect on a Keto or low-carb diet, but when you can put the entire meal in the oven together, that is what I call absolute perfection! The easy prep for this meal takes minutes before getting it in the oven. Also, because everything is made on one baking sheet, there is only one dish to clean. This meal is more perfect the more I talk about it! Let’s make it!

2 red peppers, cut into chunky strips

2 yellow or orange peppers, cut into chunky strips

2 green peppers, cut into chunky strips

1 onion, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

Extra virgin olive oil

Salt and pepper

1 container grape tomatoes, halved

1 tsp. thyme

3 New York Strip Steaks or other steaks (use as many steaks for as many people you are serving)

4 tsp. Montreal Steak seasoning

4 Tbsp. herb butter

Place the peppers, onions and half of the garlic on one side of a sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss.

Place the tomatoes, thyme and the remaining garlic on the other side of the sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss. Set the sheet pan aside for now.

Season the steaks with the Montreal steak seasoning.

Place the steaks on top of the veggies in the sheet pan. Bake in the oven at 375 degrees for 4 minutes. Flip the steaks over and cover them loosely with aluminum foil. Bake another 5 minutes. Check the steak temperature to ensure it is your desired doneness.

Remove from the oven and serve the steak with some vegetables. Plop some of the herb butter on top of the steak for the perfect finishing touch. You can use homemade herb butter or store-bought butter. No herb butter? No problem! Use plain butter instead. So delicious!
