Summer is here, and that means it’s time to fire up the grill! Whether you’re planning a Father’s Day cookout, a Fourth of July celebration, or a casual backyard BBQ, these Spinach Bacon Burgers with Ranch Butter Buns are guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser. Juicy beef burgers are combined with fresh spinach and topped with pickled red onions and bacon. Serve them on toasted brioche buns brushed with flavorful ranch butter and grill for a burger that’s anything but ordinary.
The secret to an exceptional burger starts with quality beef. For this recipe, consider stocking your freezer with premium Texas-raised beef from Sterling Farms. Their Rancher’s Reserve and Rancher’s Choice Beef Boxes include 8-10 pounds of high-quality ground beef sourced from cattle raised on open pastures and carefully finished for exceptional flavor.

Each box is thoughtfully curated to provide reliable, flavorful cuts that make meal planning simple and convenient. You can preorder a Beef/Lamb/Pork/Combo box or purchase a quarterly subscription to ensure you have quality meat on hand throughout the year.
In addition to their beef boxes, Sterling Farms offers a variety of pantry staples that can elevate your favorite recipes. The ranch butter and pickled red onions used in these burgers add layers of flavor that take this summertime favorite to the next level. Whether you’re feeding family, entertaining guests, or meal prepping for the week, these premium ingredients make it easy to create memorable meals at home.

If you’re looking for a fresh twist on the classic burger this grilling season, these Spinach Bacon Burgers with Ranch Butter Buns deserve a spot on your menu.
Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 cup fresh spinach, coarsely chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley, stemmed and chopped
1 egg
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 jar pickled red onions
4-6 strips of bacon, cooked and drained
4 brioche buns
Ranch Butter from Sterling Farms, softened
Instructions
Heat the grill to medium-low. Spread the softened ranch butter on the inside of the brioche buns.

Place the buns inside down on the grill. Grill until grill marks show and they are toasted. Remove and set aside. I must make a note that on the day of cooking it was POURING rain, so I was forced to use my stovetop grill. I can attest that these burgers come out perfect with either the indoor or outdoor grill.

In a bowl, combine all the ingredients. Mix well.

Divide the mixture into 4 balls. Turn up the heat on the grill to medium-high. Place the balls on a prepared grill and smash with a burger press to flatten. Alternatively, you could flatten them with a flat metal spatula. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side.

To build your burger, place a hot spinach burger on the bottom portion of the bun. Top with some pickled red onions and some bacon slices. Add any of your favorite condiments and cheese.
