Whether you’re looking for a quick weeknight dinner or a hearty meal that’s packed with Italian-inspired flavor, this Italian Sausage and Peppers recipe delivers every time. Best of all, it’s naturally keto-friendly, making it a delicious option for anyone looking for a wholesome, low-carb dinner without a lot of fuss.
Ingredients
4-6 sausages (Italian sausage, Bratwurst, smoked sausage, flavored sausage, etc.)
2 large onions, sliced
2 green bell peppers, sliced
1 red or orange bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Heat some olive oil in an indoor grill or a large frying pan on medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, add the sausages and cook on all sides. Remove the sausages from the pan and keep them warm.

Add the sliced peppers and onions to the pan. As the peppers and onions begin to soften, sprinkle with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Cook until vegetables are soft and the onions are translucent.

Add the sausage back to the pan and toss to combine. Sprinkle with additional Italian seasoning. Serve hot.

Serve on warm hoagie rolls or by themselves. Either way, you can’t go wrong!
