If you are on a Keto diet, you can appreciate any kind of bread item because keto bread is not the same as white or wheat bread; it is difficult to find one that tastes good and has the right texture. Although Fathead Dough has many uses, I don’t like it as much as loaf-style bread or in muffin form.
I love to experiment with Fathead Dough. It makes a wonderful pizza crust or flatbread. I have also used it for Pigs in a Blanket. Today, I am making some crescent rolls that are very similar to the way it is used for the Pigs in a Blanket. For the Pigs in a Blanket recipe, click here. Ingredients
1 recipe fathead dough
Everything But the Bagel Seasoning, poppy seed or sesame seeds
Instructions
Heat the oven to 325 degrees. Prepare the fathead dough.
On parchment paper, roll the fathead dough into a large circle. When I made the pigs in a blanket, I cut the large circle into smaller triangles. For the crescent rolls, I cut the dough into triangles that were twice as large. These make a smaller size crescent roll. For larger crescent rolls, cut the triangles into double the small size. On this day, I made the crescent rolls into a smaller size. Roll up each triangle starting at the larger end. Place on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
In a separate bowl, place some of your topping in a bowl. I used the Everything But the Bagel Seasoning. Turn a crescent roll upside down and press into the seasoning in the bowl. Repeat with the remaining crescent rolls.
Bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
