Who doesn’t love pizza? When my son was in high school, he would invite his friends over for video game nights, and I would make four different kinds of pizzas. Yes, FOUR! With a handful of teenage boys in the house, not a morsel of those pizzas was left! It was all gone! My husband and I made sure that we got to them first before it was gone.
Pizza is like a salad: there are so many ways to make it. The vegetables on this pizza are a good combination. You can use your favorite type of crust to make it fit your family. I guarantee that there won’t be any left!
Ingredients
Ingredients for Fathead Dough or your favorite pizza crust
1 jar pizza sauce
1 onion, chopped
1 8 oz. package mushrooms, sliced
3 Tbsp. garlic, minced
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes
1 can black olives, drained and sliced or chopped
2 cups mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Prepare the dough. I used Fathead Dough, which can be found here. After you have made the dough, spray a pizza pan with cooking spray and press the dough into the pan.
Bake the crust at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Pour the pizza sauce over the crust and spread it to the edges with a spatula or spoon.
Start adding the toppings. Start with the chopped onion, sliced mushrooms and garlic.
Then add the sliced olives and sundried tomatoes.
Top with cheese. On this day I placed some jalapeno slices on half the pizza at my husband’s request. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until cheese is melted.
