Little Miss Ha’s serves Vietnamese fare with Pho being the main attraction. Little Miss Ha is located in Mt. Pleasant across the bay from Charleston, SC. The restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a shopping center but has no sign on the building, so it is helpful to use a GPS app to know when you have arrived. The address is 915 Houston Northcutt BLVD., Mount Pleasant, SC. On this day, the restaurant had a blackboard sign placed outside on the sidewalk, making it easier to find.
You can view the menu online ahead of time before you go to help make your decision about what to order. Little Miss Ha offers a variety of spring rolls, bao buns and dumplings, salads, fried rice, noodle bowls, pho, banh mi, curry dishes and stir fries at moderate prices. Happy Hour is available Monday – Saturday from 4-6 p.m. with food and drink specials.
The restaurant is divided into two sections: The front half of the restaurant has long bar-height tables with bar stools for those who have stopped in for a quick lunch. To one side of this area, is a full-service bar with a glass case full of takeaway drinks in cans and bottles. The back half of the restaurant is for customers who prefer proper table service. Seating is also available outside.
We ordered some Fresh Shrimp Spring Rolls for an appetizer to accompany our drink selections. They came out hot with some peanut sauce for dipping. My son and I both ordered the Beef Pho, which was quite good. A plate of fresh basil, sliced jalapeno and bean sprouts were provided for each bowl.
My husband ordered the sesame noodle stir Fry. The dish contained sliced red hot peppers, asparagus, green onions and slices of grilled beef in a savory sesame sauce. Lots of sesame seeds gave this stir fry a little extra crunch. I was somewhat jealous of this meal because it looked and smelled so wonderful. I did taste it, of course, and it tasted as good as it looked.
Little Miss Ha is a highly-rated restaurant in the Charleston area. It is not far from Patriot’s Point where the USS Yorktown and the Ft. Sumter ferry is docked. It is a good place to go to enjoy lunch when touring those venues.
