Limoncello Prosecco Cocktail

Rate this post

It’s over 80 degrees here, so what better way to celebrate the weekend than with a refreshing cocktail? This Limoncello Prosecco cocktail is exactly what you need to cool off and unwind. I had some leftover Prosecco from New Year’s begging to be used, but you can easily swap it with a brut champagne if that’s what you have on hand.

The real star of this drink is the Limoncello. Its bright, citrusy flavor pairs beautifully with the crisp, bubbly Prosecco, creating a light and refreshing sip. And let’s be honest—bubbles make everything more fun! Whether it’s a casual weekend or a special occasion, this cocktail is perfect for raising a glass and toasting good vibes. Cheers! 🥂

1 bottle Prosecco, very cold

1 ounce Limoncello (40 ml/1.3 oz.), very cold

1 lemon, zest and juice

Before you begin pouring, peel the lemon. I like to use a peeler for this task. You can use a knife if you prefer, being careful not to cut into the bitter pith. I seem to have more luck with a peeler if it is super sharp, so that is what I will use on this occasion. Try cutting the strips as long as possible because they will work better for a pretty presentation.

Add the limoncello and one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice in a pretty glass. Fill the rest of the way with Prosecco.

Garnish with a twisted lemon peel. CHEERS!!
