Ingredients
Keto loaf bread
2 cups milk
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 eggs
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 stick butter
Monk fruit sweetened maple syrup
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, cinnamon, eggs, vanilla and nutmeg.

Prepare a griddle or frying pan by melting some butter.

Soak the bread slices in the milk mixture on both sides. Be careful not to soak them too long, or the bread will become soggy. The best practice is to quickly dunk the bread in the milk mixture for a second or two and immediately place it on the hot griddle.

Sprinkle with additional cinnamon if desired. When the toast is browned on one side, it is time to flip it to brown on the other side. Remove to a plate and keep warm. Continue frying the remaining French toast.

Serve with a pat of butter and some monk fruit-sweetened maple syrup. If you want to get fancy, dust the French toast with powdered Swerve or monk fruit sweetener before pouring on the syrup. Any kind of berry is also good on this Keto French toast. Yum!
