Keto diet or no Keto diet, these chicken thighs are the closest thing you can get to fried chicken. The Parmesan crust makes a crispy, somewhat salty crust that is flavorful and satisfying.
Ingredients
6 chicken thighs
Salt and pepper to taste
2+ Tbsp. garlic powder
2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
Olive oil for frying
Instructions
Sprinkle the chicken thighs with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Set aside.
In a shallow bowl or pie plate, combine the Parmesan cheese and 2 tablespoons of garlic powder. Stir to combine.
Drizzle some olive oil in a pan and heat. Dredge the chicken in the Parmesan mixture, making sure to coat it thoroughly.
Place each chicken thigh in the hot oil and fry until golden brown. The Parmesan cheese makes the most delicious crust with a slight saltiness. This recipe is the closest to fried chicken you can get on a Keto diet. I might like this better!
