Fathead Pizza Crust

Rate this post

Making a pizza crust from Fathead Dough is so incredibly easy. It is my favorite way to use Fathead Dough. A Fathead pizza crust differs slightly from a regular homemade pizza crust made with all-purpose flour because it is not stretchy. It will break apart if you try to stretch the Fathead Dough to make it fit your pizza pan.

Use the basic Fathead Dough recipe found here. To roll out the crust, you will need the following tools:

  • Parchment paper
  • Pizza pan
  • Pen or pencil
  • Rolling pin
  • Cooking spray

To make your pizza crust, follow the instructions below:

  1. Tear a large piece of parchment paper and place it on a hard surface.
  2. Place the pizza pan on the parchment paper and trace the shape onto the parchment paper using a pen or pencil.
  3. Place your Fathead Dough ball on the parchment paper,
  4. Spray the rolling pin generously with cooking spray.
  5. Roll the dough into a circle. The circle must be slightly larger than the circle on the parchment paper.
  6. Place the pizza pan upside down on top of the dough.
  7. Place one hand underneath the parchment paper and the other on the pizza pan.
  8. Invert the crust onto the pizza pan by flipping your hands over holding the parchment/crust/pan.
  9. Cut the excess fathead dough and pinch the edges along the pizza pan to create a raised crust. If needed, you can use the excess dough to form the edge of the crust.
  10. Bake the crust at 250 degrees for about 12 minutes before applying the toppings.
