Ingredients
1 recipe fathead dough
6 eggs
6 sliced bacon, cooked and chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 fathead dough pie crust
1/2 Tbsp. hot sauce
1/4 cup green onion, sliced
1/2 red pepper, chopped
1 tsp. garlic, minced
1 cup spinach, roughly chopped
1 cup cheddar cheese or pepper jack cheese, shredded
1/2 cup half-and-half or cream
Instructions
Roll out the fathead dough to make the pie crust. Alternatively, you can use a tortilla press to flatten the dough for the pie crust. Press the fathead dough into a 9″ pie pan. Trim or tuck under the edges.
Bake the pie crust on 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir. Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust.
Place the quiche onto a baking sheet to catch any spills. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Slice into wedges and serve. This makes a nice breakfast or pair it with a salad for lunch or dinner.
