Everything you love about wings is in this burger! These burgers are low-carb, Keto friendly and gluten-free. Your family will devour these burgers, but make sure you have a roll of paper towels on the table. They are messy in a good way!
Ingredients
1 lb. ground chicken
1/4 cup onion, chopped fine
2 tsp. garlic, minced
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg
1 tsp. fresh parsley
2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
2-4 Tbsp. Wing sauce
Cheddar cheese slices
1/4 -1/2 cup ranch salad dressing or Bleu cheese salad dressing
1 Tbsp. feta cheese or blue cheese per burger
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, egg, fresh parsley, Parmesan, Italian seasoning and wing sauce. Mix well.
Shape the patties and place on a plate. I like to use my burger press to make perfectly shaped patties at the thickness I like.
Fry the burgers on the grill until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees. You can use an indoor or outdoor grill.
Top the burgers with the cheese slices and allow to melt.
Toast the buns. I find that the buns are less likely to fall apart if they are toasted.
To serve, spread some ranch or blue cheese dressing on the top and bottom bun. Sprinkle the top of the burger with feta or blue cheese and some additional wing sauce. These babies are ready to eat!
Serve the burgers with your favorite burger toppings, a sprinkling of blue or feta cheese and extra wing sauce.
