Grilling up a bunch of chicken wings and drumsticks is an economical and delicious way to serve a crowd of guests. A smaller batch is perfect for weeknight meals, too. Ingredients
3 lb. chicken wings
3 lb. chicken drumsticks
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup honey
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
1 Tbsp. smoked paprika
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. hot sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1.2 Tbsp. Sriracha
Instructions
Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Bake wings and drumsticks in a couple of greased baking pans at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine the honey, lemon juice, vegetable oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire, smoked paprika, garlic, pepper, hot sauce, chili powder and Sriracha.
Next, pour 1/2 cup of sauce into the bottom of a slow cooker or Instant Pot.
Remove the chicken from the oven and drain the fat and juices from the cooked wings and drums. Add the chicken to the slow cooker or Instant pot. If using the Instant Pot, use the slow cooker setting. Drizzle the remaining sauce over the chicken. Cook on low for 1 hour.
These are so delicious and tender. You can use the sauce recipe for any type of BBQ or use it as a condiment. This meal is also a good choice when serving a small crowd. OOOO…I think I need to have some friends over now.
